Welcome to CTD Documentos y Más, your trusted bilingual notary public service. We are dedicated to providing efficient and reliable assistance for all your document needs in both English and Spanish.
For our Spanish speaking visitors, please understand the disclaimer also noted at the bottom of this page: the word ‘notary’ translated to Spanish does not mean the same as we understand it in our countries of origin. In the U.S., a notary is NOT an attorney. As such, a notary here has no authority to give advice on immigration or other legal matters, and may not represent you in court.
At CTD Documentos y Más, we specialize in providing expert assistance and comprehensive document solutions in both English and Spanish. That’s why we proudly offer a range of additional services to cater to your diverse requirements. If ICE arrives at your place of business, follow these guidelines:
1. If ICE arrives, at-risk employees should IMMEDIATELY move to a PRIVATE area. Do NOT stop to talk.
2. You do NOT have to allow ICE entry to private areas. Clearly mark private spaces with signs such as:
“Private. Do Not Enter” on doors.
3. Ask if ICE has a warrant signed by a JUDGE. If they do, ask to see it (through a window or under a door).
Do NOT open the door.
4. Without a judicial warrant, ICE cannot enter private areas of your business (such as kitchens, offices, or locker rooms) unless you give permission.
5. Many Florida warrants are executive warrants—not judicial warrants.
Executive warrants do NOT allow ICE to enter private areas.
6. Florida state troopers, Florida Fish & Wildlife, and local sheriffs may cooperate with ICE.
7. Some locations may no longer offer sanctuary protections.
Post clear signage at entrances stating the space is PRIVATE.
8. You have the right to RECORD your interaction with ICE, as long as you do not interfere.
9. You have the right to REFUSE consent to a search.
You can say: “I do not consent to a search of my belongings.”
